This Bombay Sapphire Gin is nicknamed Premier Cru, a winegrowing term that means 'first vegetable'. In the Murcian Lemon bottling, it is primarily the Fino lemons from Murcia southern Spain, navel oranges and tangerines that stand out aromatically. The citrus fruits are peeled by hand and dried under the Mediterranean sun before being further processed for the gin. In addition, the classic gin botanicals include juniper, coriander, cassia bark, angelica and iris root, as well as spicy grains of paradise, cubic pepper and almonds - a proven gin recipe that dates back to 1761.
