About the wine
Grand-Puy Ducasse was considered an “underdog” next to its glamorous neighboring houses Mouton-Rothschild and Lafite-Rothschild. But since renowned oenologist Anne de Naour took over management, the traditional winery has undergone an impressive transformation. The result is excellent quality wines that are no longer a secret tip. The Château Grand-Puy Ducasse is the pride of the winery and a prime item that you should have tried.

Tasting note
It is deep ruby red with intense aromas of cassis, blackberries and ripe cherries, complemented by fine notes of cedarwood, tobacco and spices. Powerful and structured on the palate, with ripe tannins, lovely freshness and a long, elegant finish.

Perfect with grilled beef, lamb, game dishes or aged hard cheese.
