About the wine
The Château Meyney vineyards are planted on perfectly drained silicate gravel soil, ideal conditions for the grapes to ripen. The blend consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and, depending on the vintage, is supplemented by 10% to 20% Petit Verdot, which comes from vines selected through mass selection. These very old vines, planted in the 50s, give the wine a very deep, dark color, spicy notes and an elegant style. The Château team watches over this rare and historic genetic heritage of the winery.

Tasting note
It is deep ruby red with intense aromas of black berries, plum and cassis, complemented by notes of spices, tobacco and fine wood. Powerful and structured on the palate, with present but supple tannins, lovely freshness and a long, elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with grilled or braised beef, lamb, game dishes and aged cheese.
