About the wine
Domaine de Bargylus was founded in 2003 in the mountains of northwestern Syria near Latakia. The brothers Karim and Sandro Saade aim to make the region's potential internationally visible with top wines from French grape varieties. Limestone and flint soils and strong temperature differences between day and night give the wines freshness, elegance and expression.

Vinification
It is aged for 14 months in French oak (20% new) and then in the bottle for several years. Approval takes place at the earliest five years after harvest.
