About the wine
This provocative red wine 2017 — Lagrein is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Picturesque and blooming landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina di Terlan o conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a dining experience when you serve this Lagrein with Riz Casimir or seafood.

Tasting note
Dark garnet red. The bouquet is dominated by an intense fruit aroma of dried cranberries and sour cherries enriched by a lilac scent and the smell of cooked laurel leaf. Chocolate notes. Juicy and harmonious in taste with a fine texture and delicate tannin, the Lagrein unfolds with great fullness and is very velvety and rich on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, beef, aged cheeses.
Vinification
Selection of grapes and grapes by hand. Unstemming the grapes and then slow maceration at controlled temperature and gentle mashing in stainless steel tanks: biological acid degradation and maturation for approx. 9 months in large wooden barrels.
