About the wine
It impresses with intense aromas of dark berries, herbs and a touch of cocoa. Powerful and velvety on the palate with ripe tannins and elegant freshness.
Tasting note
Garnet red color with purple reflections and an intense nose. Aromas of ripe wild berries accompanied by plums and cherries, with light balsamic notes and a hint of cocoa. Extremely silky on the palate, with very round tannins. It is nice and meaty and pleasant, with the perfect amount of acidity, which provides a certain freshness. In Jumilla in Murcia, these Monastrell grapes matured on very old vines. The Macho Man helps the almost displaced Monastrell grape variety make a huge comeback!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with brasato, lamb and polenta.
