About the wine
It embodies all the warmth of Puglia... The Appassimento process ensures even more content and sweetness, but the aging in barriques makes the wine extremely soft and harmonious. A great wine from southern Italy!
Tasting note
An incredibly harmonious garnet red wine with a strong bouquet reminiscent of strawberry jam, fig, coffee, licorice and pepper. The palate is very supple and full-bodied and delights with a long, persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Serve this exceptional wine with fine mushroom dishes, but also with hearty stews, game specialities and hard cheeses.
