About the wine
The Kaiken Estate Malbec shows how much personality a classic red wine can have: powerful, elegant, dynamic, with the wind of the Andes behind it. A wine for people who would rather fly than remain seated. The name of the winery goes back to the Patagonian wild goose called Caiquén by the local Mapuche Indians. Aurelio Montes, a pioneer of carefully crafted wines in Argentina, has over 100 years of top-quality vineyards. All Kaiken wines are aged in French oak barrels, which rounds off the aroma spectrum.
Tasting note
A strong, balanced ruby red wine. Its intense bouquet smells wonderful of plum, sour cherry, spicy pepper and vanilla as well as notes of toast bread. Very harmonious, full and smooth in structure, it shows velvety tannins, full fruit and beautiful roasted notes on the palate, rounded off by a wonderfully long finish.
