The winemaker from the Spanish winery Dehesa del Carrizal grows this wine in the countryside. With the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 — Seleccion Privada Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, nuances and accents are redefined. Tasting note
Impenetrable purple. A lot of aromatic depth on the nose. Aromas of ripe black berries as well as balsamic, floral and noble spicy notes. Compact and elegantly structured on the palate, with a distinguished, balanced personality. An excellent food companion with very good storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with duck, grilled meats and beef.
Vinification
Vinified in wooden barrels, then aged for 16 months in new and one to two year old French barriques and a further 18 months in the bottle.
