Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG Campo Del Drago 2017 - Castiglion del Bosco

Campo del Drago (Dragon Field) is a specific, registered location in the uppermost part of the 52-hectare Rebbergs from Castiglion del Bosco. The location includes only 1.5 hectares and is located at over 400 m above sea level is probably the best single location in the Azienda, which is why always in good vintages are vinified separately and depending on the vintage be bottled in about 6000 to 8000 bottles. The expansion takes place for two years partly in barriques, partly in large oak barrels. The wine is rich, the flavors are characterized by notes of ripe berries, ripe stone fruit and some incense. The tannins are perfectly mature, soft and well woven into the overall structure.
