Tasting note
Lies in the glass with the typical dark, impenetrable red and gives off an ever more intense scent after a while. We note spicy notes such as thyme, mint, floral accents such as violets or roses, plus dried orange peels and some black tea. As always, it drinks very densely, with the typical Terra fine-grained fruit extract tannin complex, a fresh acidity balances the matter, the tannins are dense but soft. A very long and dark fruity finish with a touch of whiskey as a final touch. An irresistible vintage with plenty of aging potential.
Culinary recommendation
A powerful, expressive red wine that goes well with grilled or braised meats such as beef, lamb or game. Thanks to its deep fruit aromas and spicy notes, it also goes well with hearty stews, Iberian specialities such as chorizo or pata negra, and aged cheeses. It is also an excellent choice for mushroom dishes or hearty pasta with truffles.
Vinification
Vines with significantly reduced yield. Harvested and selected by hand. Fermented in steel tanks, aged in French barriques (25% new) for 24 months. Without fining (no animal proteins) and without filtration.
