About the wine
This wine is everything you want from a top Tempranillo from the Ribera del Duero: pressed from old vines with minimal yields — for maximum expression. Deep, ripe, strong, absolutely harmonious interplay of fruit, spice and wood. Deep cherry red in the glass. A stunner on the palate.

Tasting note
Rich red with a dark core. Profound on the nose and full of nuances reminiscent of black chocolate, malt, tobacco, violets and black forest fruits. Opulent and full on the palate, silky tannins, lots of extract with mineral notes. A long aftertaste with aromas of malt, whiskey, smoke, chocolate, cassis and licorice.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with red meat, lamb and tapas.
Vinification
The grapes come from vines that are over 70 years old, some up to 120 years old! Aged for 24 months in French oak. Then aged in bottle for a minimum of 18 months.
