Wachenheimer Riesling "R" 2020 - Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf

Wonderful bouquet that combines the typical aromas of Palatinate Rieslings of white peach, yellow apple and mandarin with fresh floral and herbal scents. There are also slightly yeasty and spicy nuances from long yeast storage, a brilliant Riesling perfume to dip in! The delicate tannins provide great freshness and plenty of grip on the palate, plus aromas of fresh stone fruit, apples and herbs in full clarity and, together with the puristic 2019 acidity, ensure excellent drinking flow. Compared to the somewhat “softer” 2018 version, this vintage is wonderfully dry, slightly tart and animatingly fresh. However, thanks to the long yeast storage, it still has a fine creaminess, which makes it the perfect food companion.
